No, our ultrasound services are elective procedures and not diagnostic. Alberta Health Services/your insurance company will not be billed. Payment in full is expected at the time the service is performed. We accept e-payments, cash and major credit cards.

Yes, you can bring your family. If you are planning to bring a large group, we offer mobile ultrasounds inthe comfort of your home. You can book an appointment at your house and our technologists will come to you. An extra $39 travel charges applies for mobile ultrasound.

All ultrasound scans are performed by experienced technologists who are registered diagnostic medical sonographers with RDMS and CRGS certifications, and have more than 10 years of Canadian experience.

Our company uses latest Samsung ultrasound machines for 3D/4D Ultrasound, which is considered state of the art 4D obstetric imaging for face imaging and diagnostics.

Our ultrasound scans are intended only for non-diagnostic or entertainment purposes. We recommend that all clients undergo a physician-ordered diagnostic ultrasound before their first visit to First Peek. Although our technologists are trained diagnostic medical sonographers, they are not legally allowed to reveal any results to clients. Essentially, these scans do not replace diagnostic ultrasounds that are ordered by the client’s physicians.

We are usually able to get a beautiful view of the baby’s face. However, it may not be possible depending on the baby’s position, fluid, placental location and other maternal factors. There are still lots of other great images available of your baby, even if the face is not accessible

Yes, you will be charged double as tech will need twice as long time to scan twins than a singleton, also you’ll receive separate photo of each baby. Please let us know once you’re expecting multiples so we can schedule ample time for the ultrasound.
